The more obvious visually kaleidoscopic aesthetics of this album should not distract folks from seeing that MizKai is clearly capable of a truly impressively diverse range of sounds and textures. Some great energy, yes, but there's also a nice organic / human quality to a lot of these tunes - a refreshing melodic flow and variety to the song structures that keeps me listening. bryface international music concern
The soundtrack to indie game “Cottage Quest” is a marvel of pointillist synths and chiptune influence—charming and catchy all at once. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 6, 2023

Once again, Sabrepulse shows multiple personalities by blending together seemingly disparate EDM styles into one album. While chiptune is the overarching theme, you'll also find trap (in small amounts, thankfully), DnB, dance, dubstep, and house. It's very high quality stuff, but the album seems disjunct resulting from the lack of an overarching style. e_tuna
